When
Fame Academy was first shown on TV, GMFCo’s own fame and expertise
in the music and promotional industry had reached the ears of the show’s
most influential backers Mercury Records.
Mercury asked GMFCo to come on board and maximise the potential of not just
the winners of the shows but other contestants who had shown real promise in
the contest.
GMFCo took Fame Academy winner David Sneddon on the first ever UK gig marathon
- an incredible seven gigs in 10 hours.
GMFCo also handled a variety of promotional activity for other Fame Academy
notables including Lamaar and Darius who enjoyed maximum exposure for their
TV achievements.
