Rolling Rock realised the huge potential in their associations with the Glasgow-based
Rock on the Green and asked GMFCo to take the same idea on the road in the
UK.
Rolling Rock Presents (RRP) was born and soon became synonymous with what was
about to happen in the UK music scene.
The idea that had worked so well in Glasgow was rolled out all over mainland
Britain and Northern Ireland as GMFCo brought new and emerging talent to venues
throughout the country.
Many of the bands were unsigned at the time but have gone on to become headline
acts in their own right including The White Stripes.
